![]() ![]() Sometimes I do use that time to experiment with new spots/gear/baits/lures which has been advantageous at times, but that too wears thin as I look at the time and see that it's still before Noon with another 9 hrs to go before I can forward with no penalty.Īt least have an option to be able to see what's in your net and be able to choose a fish to replace the new fish with if it is better. I quickly get bored of that and usually exit the game and do something else only to come back and be in the same position I was in before. I can fill my 440lb net by 9a usually, but then have to spend the rest of the entire day just going through the motions. That gets redundantly boring after a while. ![]() It will not make you any money but you will gain the xp from it. You can also keep fishing and releasing what you catch. The only thing I can do is exit the game, play something else for an hour and come back, which is pretty lame. On day two, I do the same thing and fish for 20-30 mins, but now I cannot fast-forward to the next day since the cooldown is something like 1h30 minutes, and I cannot continue fishing since my net is full again. I would really like to see a "purge net" feature or the ability to bypass the cool-down if your net is full. Which I don't agree with considering the high bait and tackle prices.Įssentially if float fishing is better at your lake (lower level lakes) you will be fishing at a constant loss of credits the whole time you are farming XP. The devs solution to this is to have you fish and not keep fish. I fast-forward the time to 5 AM the next day to sell my fish. On the first day, after 2 hours of in-game time (maybe 20-30 mins real time) my net is full so I cannot fish anymore. ![]() Originally posted by Gigadines:While on a trip, is there a way to skip the remaining time of the current day and go to the next day without a cooldown penalty?įor example, I go on a trip for 5 days. ![]()
